Seniors: Attend College for FREE! Check out the HUSCO Scholars Program! 

Requirements: 

  • High school senior graduating in 2025
  • Strong academic record, 3.0 GPA and above
  • Enrollment in an online engineering degree through the Engineering Partnerships Program at UW-Platteville or a two-year Mechanical Design or Automation Technology degree at WCTC.
  • Acceptance into the degree of choice (does not need to be before submitting application for this program).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Eagerness to learn and grow professionally

The Husco Scholars program requires completion of a degree within 5 years. All Scholars will be provided with a job opportunity at Husco upon graduation. If a Scholar chooses to leave the program before completion, tuition payback will be required based on time invested.

Send an email to careers@husco.com containing your resume, transcript, and a 1,000-word essay answering “Why are you uniquely prepared for the Husco Scholars Program? What makes you stand out?” Applications are open until May 31, 2025.

The City of Brookfield Fire Department is hosting their annual Fire/EMS Interest Day on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 8:30 am to 12 pm. This will be held at the Fire Department (Public Safety Building) 2100 N Calhoun Rd, Brookfield, WI

This hands-on event is for students in grades 10, 11 and 12 who may have an interest in the Fire/EMS service. It is also for students who are interested in the WCTC Dual Enrollment program or for those who are deciding what career path to follow for their future. Linked are copies of the information flyer and the participation waiver which will need to be filled out prior to attending the event.

Don’t miss out! Grad Grams are on sale the whole month of April on GoFan and in person - during lunches!


Grad Grams are a unique tradition at BC. Share your special thoughts, wishes and memories with your favorite BC Graduates. All Grad Grams will be delivered at Graduation Rehearsal.  Proceeds from the sale of Grad Grams will benefit BC Cares and The Life Center Food Bank.  Grad Grams are on sale the whole month of April on GoFan and in person during lunches! Available in 10 Packs and for individual sale.

Choose to pick up your order in the BC Main Office or have your order mailed directly to your home.

All Grad Grams must be returned to the Main Office by no later than April 30th.

Brookfield Central Athletics is proud to announce the inductees to the Hall of Fame - Class of 2025. The Department of Workforce Development's Equal Rights Division has developed a new online work permit application tool. This online application is available available to the parents of minors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any computer, tablet, smartphone, or similar device. 

Parents can access the site using these instructions. Payment is made directly to the department through the application, using a credit or debit card or by ACH direct withdrawal. Once the permit application process is complete, the Department mails a paper copy of the permit directly to the employer.

  • Seniors who have received direct admit offers can view the next steps checklist and complete the Direct Admit form via the UW Admissions Pathway Portal as soon as possible. The form must be submitted no later than May 1, 2025. After May 1, 2025 the direct admit offer(s) will expire and the student will need to complete a traditional admission application.
  • Students who need help with account creation or completion of the Direct Admit form may contact the UW HELP team for assistance.
