Brookfield Central earned a score of 88.4 on the state report card, placing us in the Significantly Exceeds Expectations category! It is celebration for our entire BC Community. Click here for our report card.

Our students continue to perform at high levels in English and mathematics, show strong academic growth, and graduate at exceptionally high rates. We are also proud of our strong attendance, which reflects student engagement, connectedness, and family partnership. In addition, many students take advantage of advanced coursework, dual enrollment, and work-based learning experiences.

While we celebrate our overall success, we remain focused on ensuring that all students grow and succeed. There is still work to be done, but I am confident that our team is equipped to find solutions to our challenges. Key areas of focus identified in the report card include Achievement Gaps, where target group performance is lower than that of non-target groups, and Demographic Group Gaps, where achievement varies across race, disability, and economic groups.

We are addressing these gaps through targeted academic interventions, ongoing progress monitoring, and continued collaboration via co-planning models and effective teaching practices. Additionally, to improve access in Advanced Coursework Participation, we will continue expanding supports and pathways into AP and dual credit courses for all students.

As a proud principal and parent, I recognize that the many accomplishments we celebrate this school year are the direct result of collaboration among our students, staff, and families. Thank you all for making BC such a special place.

-Brett J. Gruetzmacher-Proud Principal
