A team of Brookfield Central High School students has once again demonstrated outstanding scientific prowess by taking sixth place nationally at the 2025 National Science Bowl (NSB)—marking an extraordinary fifth year of national qualification for some of the team members.
Now seniors at Brookfield Central, Joshua Wang, Kartik Ramachandrula, Avaneesh Muralidharan, and Saathvik Gowda, along with junior Vaidehi Ramachandrula, have maintained a tradition of excellence that began in middle school. The team earned their spot at the national level by taking first place at the NSB Regional Competition earlier this year, continuing their legacy as one of the top science teams in the country.
The team's previous accolades include a Top 12 finish in 2019, Top 4 in 2020, and a National Runner-Up title in 2021 while representing Wisconsin Hills Middle School and top 16 Finish in 2022 while representing Brookfield Central. Their consistent high-level performance reflects years of preparation, teamwork, and an enduring love of science.
Congratulations to students Joshua Wang, Kartik Ramachandrula, Avaneesh Muralidharan, Vaidehi Ramachandrula, and Saathvik Gowda!
